How does Happily Captured Films work?
We ship you everything you need to film your wedding. Friends or family record the day, send the camera back with the prepaid label, and we turn it into a cinematic highlight film.
What's included in each package?
All kits come with pre-installed SD cards, charged batteries, and prepaid return shipping. Higher-tier packages include extras like tripods, mics, and extra cameras.
Can you edit my ceremony or reception in full?
Yes — as long as it’s been filmed in its entirety. We recommend booking a package that includes a tripod to ensure steady, professional-looking footage. Full-length edits can be added at booking or after your wedding for an additional cost.
Is the camera easy to use?
Yes! Just press record. We also include a Quick Start Guide and a QR code with tutorials.
Who should film our day?
Pick reliable guests who will be present, comfortable with the camera, and focused on capturing the action.
When will I get my video?
4–8 weeks after we get your camera back. Rush Editing delivers in 2 weeks for an additional cost.
Can I choose my music?
Yes — you can browse and select a track from our partner site, Musicbed.com, and we’ll license it for your film. If you don’t choose, we’ll pick a cinematic song that fits your day perfectly. For copyright reasons, we can’t use just any song — it must be licensed so you can share your video freely.
What if the camera is lost or damaged?
Our equipment is valuable, so please treat it with care. If anything is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear, you’ll be responsible for covering the replacement cost as outlined in your rental agreement. In rare cases where payment isn’t made, we may pursue collection to recover the cost — but we truly hope it never comes to that.
Can I book if I already have a videographer?
Absolutely — our kits make the perfect second perspective for behind-the-scenes moments and guest messages.
How far in advance should I book?
Book as early as possible, especially for peak wedding months.
Can I book if I already have a videographer?
We typically ship your kit 5–7 days before your wedding so you have plenty of time to get familiar with the camera and accessories. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as it’s on the way
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 states. International shipping is coming soon.
How long do we have to return the camera?
Please ship the kit back within 2-3 days after your wedding using the prepaid return label. This helps us keep turnaround times fast for all couples and gets you your films faster!
